How to service and repair the oil pan on Lincoln Mark LT?

In order to fix the oil pan, it is important to set the vehicle in neutral position on a hoist, empty the oil, and unscrew the crossmember frame bolts. In the case of 4wd, lift the axle, pull off the required bolts and lower the axle. Install the oil pan, gasket and make sure it is installed and bolts tightened. Reassemble parts and oil.
