You should place the vehicle into NEUTRAL position on the hoist before starting ambient temperature sensor and cabin temperature sensor service or repair work. Start by unscrewing the 7 pin-type retainers of the lower radiator air deflector and the 5 screws holding the deflector in place before removing the component. The removal of the ambient temperature sensor starts by disconnecting its electrical connector both from the bumper and the sensor itself. The final stage of installation includes following the opposite order of disassembly.
