How to Service and Repair an Air Duct in the Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe on Lincoln MKX?

Start the intake air duct service by disconnecting both the crankcase vent tube and vacuum tube that are attached to the air cleaner outlet pipe. After releasing the clamp holding the air cleaner outlet pipe to the cover begin by torquing it to 5 Nm (44 lb-in) during reinstallation. Before removing the outlet pipe from the throttle body you must loosen the clamp which connects the air cleaner outlet pipe to this assembly. After reinstalling the clamp you must apply torque to 5 Nm (44 lb-in). The installation must end with a reverse order of steps after making certain the air cleaner outlet pipe forms a proper seal to avoid unmetered air entering the engine.
