How to service the starter motor on Lincoln MKX?

Disconnect battery ground. Remove air cleaner.Disconnect and lay aside transmission shift cable and lever (replace nut to 18 Nm).Take out starter terminal cover; solenoid battery cable nut (12 Nm) and solenoid wire nut (5 Nm).Detach harness retainer.Take out bolts and starter (27 Nm on install).Reverse to reassemble.
