The proper retention of suspension fasteners relies on using a new part of the same part number and following exact torque specifications during reassembly. First index the cam bolt together with the adjuster and then loosen the cam adjuster nut until the rear alignment is checked. Use a suitable jack to sustain the lower arm while separate the stabilizer bar link lower bolt. The spring contains high compression forces that need special caution since this threatens personal safety. Take out the lower arm outboard bolt before lowering the arm to remove the spring while checking and possibly replacing both upper and lower seats. Put the spring upper seat onto the spring with its end located 0-10 mm (0-0.39 inch) from the step on the seat. To install the lower seat into the lower arm you must fix it at the recess to match up with the projection. Place the spring onto the lower arm at the same distance it had from the step on the spring seat. Position the jack under the lower arm and suspend it before putting in the lower arm outboard bolt. Tighten all suspension bushing fasteners only after raising the suspension so the hub center matches the fender lip at 395 mm (15.55 inch). Secure the lower arm outboard bolt with 103 Nm torque force (74 ft. lbs.) before installing the stabilizer bar link lower bolt and setting torque at 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.) strength. End this procedure by aligning the cam bolt and cam adjuster index marks to those of the lower arm and tightening the cam adjuster nut to 101 Nm (74 ft. lbs.) while checking the rear end alignment when needed.
