The service process for wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft requires starting with removal of the upper cowl panel grille. Disconnect the electrical connector for the wiper motor as the second step. Installation demands tightening the bolts to 5 Nm (44 lb-in) then proceeding with the reverse order of removal.
