How to service and repair the intake air duct on Lincoln Navigator?

Begin intake air duct service and repair operations by uninstalling the two bolts which hold the engine appearance cover into place. Remove the outlet pipe by first releasing the two clamps on the Air Cleaner (ACL) outlet pipe. The installation of the ACL outlet pipe requires complete sealing between its flanges and the ACL and Throttle Body, thus preventing any strange engine noises. Install the outlet pipe with the correct alignment indicator position while clamping it tightly to 4 Nm torque (35 lb-in). Secure the outlet pipe before installing the engine appearance cover while tightening two bolts to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).
