The left-hand exhaust manifold needs to be removed before repairing or servicing the engine oil dip stick together with the dip stick tube. You should first remove the oil level indicator along with its bolt then detach the oil level indicator tube. The installation process requires a new O-ring seal which must be installed before performing the removal steps in reverse order.
