How to service the rear spoiler on Lincoln MKX?

To service the spoiler, remove the electrical connector and washer hose, the liftgate trim panel and the nut covers. Tape the liftgate paint. And press upon the spoiler with thy hand. To install, undo the steps to remove it and use the replacement retainers in case they are broken.
