Raise glass. Take out trim and reposition water shield. Disconnect left door by lock cylinder and exterior handle rods. Unscrew manual lock rod; take away and dispose three bolts. Disconnect connector/harness, unlatch interior cable. Tighten new latch to 9 Nm (80 lb-in); keep exterior rod loose, all the way up; reverse.
