How to Remove and Replace the Front Door Latch Assembly on Lincoln Town Car?

Removal of the front door latch requires removal of the trim panel and watershield, disconnection of the door lock actuator and removal of rivets on the latch and actuating rods. Once all the latch screws have been removed, place the new latch, screw up to 6 Nm and install new rivets with Heavy Duty Riveter.
