How to service the radiator cooling fan motor and shroud on Lincoln Town Car?

The service process for radiator cooling fan motor and shroud requires draining the cooling system first. Following bolt removal from the power steering reservoir you should place it safely aside before tightening it to 10 Nm (89 lb-in) when reinstalling it. You must disconnect both degas bottle hoses before unscrewing its mounting bolt so reinstall the bolt with 10 Nm (89 lb-in) torque. Begin by disconnecting the upper radiator hose then putting it away before removing the cooling fan motor transmission tubes from the shroud. The electrical connection of the cooling fan motor needs to be removed at this point. During the process keep the lower radiator hose safe from the assembly area. The two bolts on the cooling fan motor and shroud assembly need removing while installation requires torquing these bolts to 7 Nm (62 lb-in). The completion of the procedure includes installing components before filling and bleeding the cooling system.
