How to service the thermostat on Lincoln Town Car?

In order to service the thermostat, emptying the coolant, the engine cover and the bolts that connect the water outlet and the hose. Take out the thermostat with O-ring, checking the seal and replacing it, as necessary. Lastly, undo the steps of removal and install.
