How to remove and install the rear seat cushion safely on Lincoln Town Car?

By pushing the front retainers of the rear seat cushion pad and frame with lower front pressure you can disengage the retainers to position the cushion forward. Rear heated seat vehicles require the electric connectors to be properly labeled then disconnected prior to continuing. The retaining wires in both the rear seat cushion pad and frame as well as the rear seat backrest pad and frame must be fully seated in their retainer brackets to stop forward sliding during a collision otherwise personal injury could occur. Reverse the uninstallation steps for the rear seat cushion while making sure the active restraint system functions properly after installation.
