How to service and repair the inner tie rod on Lincoln Town Car?

In order to fix the inner tie rod, take out the wheel, loosen the tie-rod jam nut, and take off the outer tie-rod end. Take off the bellows boot and clamps and make sure that the steering gear is centered. Install the inner tie rod, lubricate, reverse the removal steps and check the toe alignment at the front afterwards.
