In order to service the outer tie rod end, raise the vehicle, remove the castle nut, cotter pin, and nut. Separate it with a Tie Rod End Remover. Identify threads to be installed, and fasten the new tie rod end. Alignment of the check prior to tightening of the clamp. Finally, lower the vehicle.
