In order to service the wiper motor turn on and remove the wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft assembly. Next, remove the wiper motor with the output shaft bolt and the motor bolts. These steps can be reversed to install.

How to service the wiper motor on Lincoln Town Car?

The wiper motor can be serviced by loosening the wiper mounting arm with pivot shaft without loosening the linkage arm of the motor. Separate the linkage arm with an appropriate tool after which the three motor bolts should be removed and tightened around 15 Nm when reattached. Repeat the process backward.
