How to Service and Repair Automatic Transmission Shift Levers on Lincoln Zephyr?

In order to fix the automatic transmission shifter, disassemble center console, unconnect the shift lever cable, and electrical connector. Take off the shift lever by four nuts. Install the shift lever, reconnect the cable and electrical connector then attach the shift cable to adjust and reinstall the center console.
