  A: Vehicle positioning must occur with the steering wheel facing straight ahead and the vehicle placed at NEUTRAL on a hoist for service and repair of the engine oil dip stick with its attached dip stick tube. Begin your work by taking out the oil level indicator together with the oil pressure sender. Workers should detach the block heater electrical connector while removing its wiring harness retainers from the vehicle. The service and repair process begins by disassembling the stud bolt and oil level indicator tube along with removing the O-ring seal for discarding. Set the vehicle in NEUTRAL position on a hoist before installing the new tube with fresh engine oil lubricated O-ring seal and tighten it to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.). Conclusion of the installation requires following the reverse order of removal procedures.
