    Q: How to service and repair the wheel spindle on Lincoln Zephyr?
    A: Wetting the Wheel Bearing assembly together with Wheel Hub assembly is the initial requirement before starting wheel spindle repair and service tasks. Follow the step of removing the brake shield bolts then detach the brake disc shield but remember to tighten new shields to 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.) before completing the installation. Follow these steps by unscrewing the four spindle bolts which allow you to detach the wheel spindle before torquing new spindle bolts to 140 Nm (103 ft. lbs.). After finishing with the removal follow its exact opposite procedures to complete the installation. When replacement is necessary you should use a new part with the exact part number because weak or alternative designs may lead to substantial service expenses. The correct operation of suspension fasteners depends on following their designated torque specifications throughout reassembly procedures.
