How to Service the Ambient Temperature Sensor on Mercury Grand Marquis?

In order to service the ambient air temperature sensor, begin by taking out the upper radiator sight shield. Then, remove the electrical connector and remove the sensor. Installation of the new sensor takes the same steps as that during removal, only in reverse.
