How to service the power mirror actuator on Mercury Grand Marquis?

Before servicing the power mirror motor, you have to remove the outer rear view mirror by pushing the edge of the glass on the top and pulling it out. Unconnect the electrical connector and strip the motor screws recording connector colours and position. Uninstall by undoing the steps to uninstall it.
