How to service the wiper motor on Mercury Grand Marquis?

To service the wiper motor, open the cover and rotate the linkage by hand to the upper most wiper position. Pivot the shaft without losing the linkage and remove the wiper arm. Unscrew the bolts of the motor, change out the motor and reattach, tightening the bolts to 13 Nm (10 lb-ft). Installation Reverse the process.
