A hoist should receive the vehicle while it remains in neutral position. The service process starts by taking out the 6 pin-type retainers that contain 3 components each side and continues with the fender splash shield bolts which need 2 bolts per side while reinstallation requires tightening these bolts to 8 Nm (71 lb-in). The following task requires the removal of the four air deflector bolts before tightening them to 8 Nm (71 lb-in) when reinstalling. Then remove the 2 pin-type retainers located at the center of the front bumper cover and the 2 outer ones positioned on each side. Disable view fog lamps by taking off electrical connectors when present on the vehicle. The 2 upper bumper cover securing bolts need removal and subsequent installation with 8 Nm of torque (71 lb-in). The configuration of the front bumper cover installation requires placing the front bumper forward before applying medial pressure at the headlamp base to latch it into position on the bumper slides.

Initiate the process by removing six scrivets inside the front splash shield where three scrivets are situated on each side. The front bumper replacement requires removing the fender splash shield-to-Air Deflector bolts from both sides before installation where the bolts should be tightened to 5 Nm (44 lb-in). You should take out the 3 air deflector bolts before their reinstallation by using 5 Nm (44 lb-in) torque value. You must remove the 2 front bumper cover center scrivets before disconnecting any fog lamp electrical connectors which may be present. The installation procedure requires disconnection of the 2 upper bolts that secure the front bumper cover followed by the cover removal. Reinstall these bolts at 8 Nm (71 lb-in) torque. The front bumper cover can be installed by repositioning and pressing on each side at the headlamp bottom corner until the bumper slides lock into place.
