    A: The process of servicing and repairing the power steering reservoir requires siphoning out power steering fluid through a suitable suction device from the 2.3L Power Steering Pump reservoir. Afterward, you need to detach the accessory Drive Belt. Detach the clamp before removing the power steering return hose from the reservoir and disconnecting its pressure switch electrical connector. Melt the power steering pressure line banjo bolt before pulling out the line from the pump and getting rid of everything including the bolt and two seals. You should install the new banjo bolt with 35 Nm (26 ft. lbs.) torque. Match the three power steering pump bolts with new ones before installing the pump by tightening new bolts to 24 Nm (18 ft. lbs). The power steering pressure line must be disconnected from the pump only when you install a new bolt along with new seals. In conclusion, the procedure by filling the power steering system.
