Mercury Milan Turn Signal Switch Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to service and repair the turn signal switch on Mercury Milan?
A: Begin servicing and repairing the turn signal switch by removing the instrument panel steering column cover through its clips connected to the instrument panel then pulling it outward directly. The service required for the upper steering column shroud begins with pressing upward on both sides while releasing its clips and subsequently lifting the shroud free. The procedure starts with releasing the tilt lever before removing three screws to access and remove the lower steering column shroud. First disconnect the electrical connector of the multi-function switch and after that remove the screws which attach the switch to its housing for extraction. The reverse sequence used for removal will finalize the installation process.
