First disconnect and move to the side the upper degas bottle hose before moving to the lower degas bottle hose for disconnection and placement aside. The two degas bottle bolts must be removed in order to access the electrical connector but should be tightened back to 9 Nm (80 lb-in) when reinstalling. Disconnect the degas bottle electrical connector and take out the bottle. Place coolant into the degas bottle before reinstalling it according to the removal steps in reverse order.
