  A: A suitable suction device should drain power steering fluid before starting the repair process of the power steering reservoir. Begin by removing both clamps from the cooler-to-reservoir hose of the power steering reservoir before taking off the suction hose simultaneously. To perform the removal task next disconnect the two nuts which secure the power steering reservoir. Tighten the nuts of the new reservoir to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.) and follow the uninstallation sequence in reverse order. Reinstall the power steering reservoir then add correct fluid but keep contaminants outside and prevent engine accessory Drive Belt contact with fluid because it shortens component lifespan.
