  Service of the rear door window motor requires starting with removal of the rear door trim panel and door speaker. Set the lock rod downward to position the shaft into the door lock linkage slot before pulling out the lock rod. Start by disconnecting the door lock and rear window motor electrical connectors then take out the three door latch screws and the access hole cover. Stand the door window glass down until a clear visibility of the glass clamp bolt through the access hole plug before unscrewing the bolt while tightening it to 9 Nm (80 lb-in) for reassembly. Disassemble the five wiring harness retainers and grommet before securing a tape to the window glass. When putting back the interior door handle bolt apply a tightening torque of 7 Nm (62 lb-in). After removing the eight door module bolts you should re-tighten them at 8 Nm (71 lb-in). Users should push the wiring harness, grommet and interior door handle with cable through appropriate holes in the rear door module before taking out the door module. The installation requires following procedures in the reverse order of removal.

  Start front door window motor servicing by taking out the door trim panel together with the water shield. The electrical connector of the window motor should be disconnected while you tape the glass into its current position. You should uninstall the three window motor screws before tightening them to 7 Nm (62 lb-in) upon reinstalling these components. The needed removal practice should be repeated during the installation process of the window motor. A new LH front window motor installation requires an initialization procedure. To reset the original LH front window motor it requires de-initialization before restarting the initialization process. The LH front window motor needs both de-initialization and re-initialization procedures in all situations where it leaves the Window Regulator drum housing or any changes occur to the window regulator or glass run or top run or when adding new grease or lubricants to these components.
