  A proper service of the front door window regulator and motor starts with door trim panel and water shield removal and then moving to the front door speaker removal. Start by taking off the access hole cover and cut the power connection to the two door latches. You should disconnect the door lock and power mirror electrical connectors along with the keyless entry keypad when these components apply. After removing each clip the service technician should disconnect all door latch components as well as door lock linkages. The first step involves disconnecting the window motor electrical connector plus setting the wiring harness aside while detaching the four wiring harness retainers and grommet then pushing the grommet through the opening into the door panel. The interior door handle bolt needs removal followed by its placement along with tightening of the handle to 7 Nm (62 lb-in) before installing back. To access the glass clamp bolts through back access and front door speaker openings you need to lower the window because the window regulator motor is not working.
