Window Regulator, Rear Passenger Side

The beginning step for servicing the rear door window regulator involves removal of the door trim panel and door speaker. Pull the lock rod downwards toward the slot on the door lock linkage before extracting the rod through its pathway. First disconnect the door lock and rear window motor electrical connectors then remove their three screws to access the hole cover and remove it finally. The door window regulator motor malfunction requires lowering the window to expose the glass clamp bolt through the access hole plug before loosing the clamp bolt until torque reaches 9 Nm (80 lb-in). Always tighten the bolt to 9 Nm (80 lb-in) during reinstallation. Beginning with glass tape securement you should detach the wiring harness retainers together with the wiring harness grommet from its location. After handling the interior door handle bolt, install it with 7 Nm (62 lb-in) torque. Start by taking out the eight bolts from the door module and re-torque each one to 8 Nm (71 lb-in) during reinstallation. You must lead the wiring harness and grommet and interior door handle and cable into the openings found in the rear door module before taking out the door module. The completion of installation requires following the reverse order of the removal process.
