The first step to change the keyless entry transmitter for the sliding door latch remote control starts with removing the sliding door trim panel. Following the removal of three sliding door latch screws you should tighten them to 9 Nm (80 lb-in) during reinstallation. Set the sliding door latch outside the door frame while separating the electrical connector that controls the sliding door detent switch if present. You need to uninstall three sliding door remote control bolts that are located inside the door frame while tightening them to 9 Nm (80 lb-in) when you put them back. Tighten each one of the three sliding door remote control bolts to 9 Nm (80 lb-in) before putting them back. You must disconnect the component that operates the sliding door exterior handle and the component that operates the sliding door interior handle by opening the clip. Place the sliding door remote control before disconnecting the sliding
Door Lock Actuator and every sliding door latch actuator electrical connector present on the vehicle. Before reinstalling the sliding door remote control you must finish by completing the procedure in reverse order.
