  A: The first step to fix the throttle cable and linkage involves removing the air cleaner outlet tube unless you must detach the Accelerator Cable bracket. Rephrase the part removal sequence exactly as shown within the illustration and table. The accelerator cable grommet installation starts with clip removal and follows with squeezing the brackets to separate the accelerator cable from its position. The accelerator cable needs to be removed from its left-hand shock tower and air cleaner housing clips. To remove the accelerator cable from the pedal operate two steps sequentially: free the cable from the rubber plunger followed by pulling the plunger toward the rear to take the cable off. Completion of the installation process happens through the execution of steps that were previously used for removal.
