To repair the heater core, perform a pressure leak test (when required). Take out the heater core and evaporator housing, then the left and right floor ducts, the housing brace, the heater tube cover and heater core cover. Lastly, de-assemble, remove the heater core and then install the new one.

To maintain the core of the evaporator and the heater, recover the refrigerant and drain the coolant. Take out instrument panel, disconnect wiring and strip off brackets. Disassemble disconnecting hoses and fittings and strip out the housing. To fill up the cooling system charge refrigerant and remedy the steps by reversal using new O-rings and PAG oil.
