How to service and repair the blower motor on Mercury Mountaineer?

A technician must start any blower motor service work by disconnecting the battery ground. The speed control servo removal process starts with disconnecting the electrical connector before removing its bolt then setting it aside. You should move the coolant/washer reservoir aside following its screw and nut removal. Start by disconnecting the blower motor through cable separation of the vent hose and electrical connector before removing the four screws to extract the motor unit. To re-install the components reverse the steps used for removal.
