Start the oil pan baffle repair with removal of the oil pump screen cover and tube then the nuts from the oil pan baffle. Postition the oil pan baffle then install the nuts while following a two-step tightening procedure of 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.) followed by an additional 45° turn. Reinstall both the oil pump screen cover with its tube.
