How to service and repair the tailgate latch on Mercury Mountaineer?

In order to fix the tailgate latch, open and support tailgate. Take out access panel, 4 retainers and 7 bolts. Lift the latch actuating rod, and disengage its locator. Unscrew 2 bolts to latch then replace all things, with 5 Nm and 25 Nm bolts related.
