How to service the spoiler on Mercury Milan?

When servicing the spoiler start by opening the luggage compartment lid while removing the luggage compartment lid insulator through pushpin retainer removal followed by taking out the insulator itself. You should first detach the spoiler electrical connector and then unscrew the spoiler nuts from the luggage compartment lid before reinstallation where you should tighten them to 6 Nm (53 lb-in). When removing the spoiler you should be cautious about two small pin retainers that are hard to unfasten and might break. The spoiler removal process ends with reverse installation of components while damaged retainers need replacement with new parts.
