New suction accumulators should be installed only when evidence shows the system is contaminated by either a non-functional A/C compressor or damage to the accumulator.

Beginning with the PCM and battery and battery tray removal, service the technicians on technicians to remove the PCM bracket through undoing three PCM bracket bolts until they reach a torque of 10 Nm (89 lb-in) when reinstalling the bracket. Connect the suction accumulator outlet to a new O-ring seal while tightening it at 8 Nm (71 lbs-in). Removing the suction accumulator inlet fitting should be followed by getting rid of its O-ring seals.
