The installation process requires the opposite steps of removal along with new O-ring seals that need clean mineral oil lubrication before the installation of the correct clean mineral oil into the refrigerant system. Complete the refrigeration system maintenance by performing evacuation and leak testing followed by charging procedures as per the supplied instructions. For R-134a refrigerant system O-ring sealing you should apply Refrigerant Compressor Oil F73Z-19577-AA (Motorcraft YN-9-A) while the A/C compressor requires PAG Refrigerant Compressor Oil F7AZ-19589-DA (Motorcraft YN-12-C) or another lubricant which satisfies Ford specification WSH-M1C231-B.
