    A hoist must position the vehicle in NEUTRAL to allow effective front bumper cover replacement. The first step involves removing 2 front bumper cover scrivets while tightening their installation to 6 Nm (53 lb-in) and discarding 4 front bumper cover bolts with the same torque value. Your first step should be to remove the 6 front bumper cover wheel house screws which exist in sets of three per side and the 2 screws that reside in the front upper wheel well with one screw present on each side. Cuts off the lower inside LH bumper cover fog lamp electrical connector as well as removes the speed control sensor electrical connector when present. Before removing the front bumper cover take out seven lower scrivets from the air deflector along with notating how the upper rear section must pop outward from the fender to separate it out. Check if the bumper cover mounting reinforcements have damage and replace them if needed. Reverse the removal steps when performing installation of this component.

The second step involves extracting the 2 front bumper cover scrivets which are situated beneath the license plate area. Remove the front lower air deflector with the bumper cover since you will need to also take out the 3 lower air deflector-to-radiator grille support scrivets. The 3 sets of 2 Nm (18 lb-in) tightened screws secure the front bumper cover wheel house along each side of the vehicle while removing the screws requires 6 pieces. The installation requires disconnecting the fog lamps and front parking aid electrical connectors only when fitted. The operation for releasing the bumper cover begins with a pull motion toward the rear upper side of the bumper cover mounting reinforcement while disassembling the part. Examine the bumper cover mounting reinforcements for harm before deciding on replacement if needed. Reinstallation of a new bumper cover begins with returning components to their original positions during removal while following the opposite steps to install the new component.
