The service of the heater core requires the removal of the LH quarter trim panel with nine auxiliary heater core cover screws. Proper clamps should be used to stop the flow of heat in the auxiliary heater core heater hoses. The drain pan should support the heater core tubes to stop coolant from entering the vehicle while you remove both auxiliary heater core hoses. The next step involves loosening and disconnecting the outlet hose of the auxiliary heater core through its clamp.
