Q: How to service the heater core on Ford Mustang?
A: To maintain the heater core, first take out the evaporator core housing and evaporator foam weather seal. Then screwdriver unscrew the heater core cover and remove the heater core. In order to install it, reverse the process, but ensure that a new oval foam weather strip is placed around the inlet and outlet tubes of the heater core.
A: To service the heater core, first conduct a leak test. Remove the evaporator core housing, instrument panel, PCM, and heat sink. Remove four nuts on the dash panel and position the plenum chamber on the floor. Unscrew the heater core cover, remove the heater core, and reinstall with a new foam seal.
