    The first step for servicing the heater core includes draining engine coolant before disconnecting the heater hoses at its location. The service begins by taking out the instrument panel finish panel followed by the bolts that hold the instrument panel reinforcement and its bracket in place. After removing the screws you should place the wire harness to the side. Carefully remove the eight heater core cover screws and heater core cover without letting coolant escape while performing the heater core removal operation. The installation requires performing all moves backward after removal including cleaning and dissolving lubricating coolant hoses when required. You should complete the engine cooling system filling process. A heater core should be leak-tested with pressure before the removal process begins for suspected leaks.
