The brake fluid bleeding process requires only brake fluid that fulfills manufacturer requirements and must include new fluid instead of reusing drained fluid because contaminated fluid could harm brake components. The brake master cylinder requires constant filling with fluid throughout the operation because this protects both the system functionality and braking potential. Wipe off any brake fluid escaping from the bleeder screw with water when the liquid contacts painted or plastic parts. Start the bleeder screw process by taking away the bleeder screw cap while you apply a box-end wrench to the bleeder screw. A rubber drain hose should be connected to the bleeder screw before the free end section goes into a container that contains clean brake fluid specified by the manufacturer. A helper should maintain continuous pedal pressure while keeping another helper who pumps the brake pedal. Bleeding must be completed by pressing and releasing the parking brake five times when working on rear integral parking brake calipers. Open the bleeder screw while your assistant manually presses the brake pedal before you tighten both parts as the assistant sustains pressure on the brake pedal. The braking fluid should be replenished periodically during the bleeding process to achieve clear fluid in the final stages of reservoir fill. Finish the procedure by tightening the brake caliper bleeder screw then extracting the rubber hose followed by reinstalling the bleeder screw cap while making sure to maintain the necessary torque specification for both front and rear brake caliper bleeder screws.

Only clean brake fluid meeting the manufacturer's specifications should be used, avoiding any previously drained fluid to prevent contamination and damage.
