Service and repair of the fog lamps requires starting with removing the front license plate frame when present. The fog lamp service starts by taking out the bracket bolts while removing the assembly by disconnecting the electrical connector before cutting the pin-type retainers and adjustment bolt. You should pull the retaining tabs outward to remove the fog lamp. The service requires replacing the existing fog lamp bulb if needed. The correct action to reinstall machines is to execute the removal process backwards. Horizontal aim adjustment is not available for this vehicle model since the state vehicle inspection center should establish visual aiming tolerance ranges. Start the fog lamp adjustment only when you confirm the proper tire pressure, the vehicle carries only half a fuel tank and has no extra weight and rests on flat ground and both lights including fog and headlamps operate with clean lenses. Approach the vehicle aiming procedure by placing it 7.6 meters (25 ft) away from either the vertical wall screen or measurement area which should extend at least 2.4 meters (8 ft) wide. When aiming fog lamps users must position the top edge of their high-intensity zone 10 cm beneath the center horizontal line of the lamps.
