    The replacement process of Powertrain Control Module (PCM) requires all customer keys for programming during installation since PCM replacement does not necessitate new keys. Follow the required procedure to obtain the module configuration through necessary module configuration retrieval steps. After releasing the clips you should disconnect the three PCM electrical connectors. Untighten and remove the bolt which holds the PCM in position before extracting the module. Install the PCM by placing it correctly then fasten it with the bolt and tighten it to 10 Nm (89 lb-in). Reinstall the three PCM electrical connector clips after reconnecting them all. You should complete module configuration retrieval steps to restore the module configuration. The completion of passive anti-theft system (PATS) reprogramming requires users to perform the Key Programming Using Two Programmed Keys procedure.
