The first step to replace the engine mount involves setting the vehicle to NEUTRAL gear and suspending it on a hoist. The Installer should place the Engine Support Bar before removing the bracket bolt from the engine mount while tightening this bolt to 115 Nm (85 lb-ft) for reinstallation. The Engine Support Bar needs to elevate the engine up by 25 mm (0.98 in) before removing the three nuts and engine mount bracket along with tightening all parts to 115 Nm (85 lb-ft) torque specifications. Follow the step of removing the three bolts that secure the engine mount and tighten them to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft) when reinstalling the mount. You should execute the opposite steps for finishing the installation procedure.

Remove the splash shield retainers and the LH splash shield.

Tighten it to 115 Nm (85 lb-ft).

Reinstall the cross brace with its 4 bolts, tightening them to 48 Nm (35 ft. lbs.), and finally, reinstall the left-hand splash shield along with its 7 retainers, tightening them to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).

Disconnect the breather tube and the mass air flow (MAF) sensor.

Tighten it to 90 Nm (66 lb-ft).

Front bolts: 90 Nm (66 ft. lbs.), Rear nut: 150 Nm (111 ft. lbs.).

Remove the 2 bolts from the mount to take out the mount itself.

Position the brace and install the nut, tightening it to 150 Nm.

Disconnect the breather tube and the mass air flow (MAF) sensor.

Position the vehicle on a hoist with the transmission in neutral.

Ensure the vehicle is in NEUTRAL and positioned on a hoist.

Tighten it to 103 Nm (76 lb-ft).

Remove the 2 bolts from the lower front insulator and take out the insulator.

Detach the 2 bolts from the mount to remove it.
