The lower engine mount can be serviced and repaired by lifting the vehicle and putting the transmission on a neutral position. To take out the lower motor mount, loosen the two bolts of the mount then lift it out. Installation Installation is done by installing the mount, the lower motor mount, and attaching it with 2 bolts.

How to Remove and Replace an Engine Mount on a Four-Wheel Drive on Ford Ranger?

In order to change the engine mount, raise the vehicle in neutral, unhook the battery, and lift the hood and fan. De mount engine mount nuts, lift front axle and drop it. Install new engine mount, tighten all bolts, and reassemble, fan and battery connection.
