Servicing the rear door window regulator demands the removal of rear door trim panel then the rear door speaker and interior moulding. The next step requires removal of the rear door weather shield. Avoid letting the glass bracket hole expand when you remove rivets because a damaged regulator may produce a loose rivet which generates clicking sounds. Drilling out the glass-to-regulator rivets requires a drill bit with 4.5 mm diameter (0.1772 inches) to reach the rivets from inside the position where the rear door window glass is placed. Apply taped to the rear door window glass while it faces fully upward before you disconnect the electrical connector of the window regulator motor. When installing the rear window regulator remove its mounting nuts then reinstate these fasteners with 10Nm (89lb-in) torque setting. The next step requires removing three window regulator motor bracket nuts following installation by tightening them to 10 Nm (89 lb-in). Reinstall the new components by going through the reversal of the removal procedure after you remove the window regulator assembly.

The service of the rear door window regulator starts by taking off the rear door trim panel then the rear door speaker followed by removing the interior moulding and rear door weather shield. Take care when removing rivets to avoid expanding the glass bracket hole since this may create a loose new rivet which produces clicking noises. The 4.5 mm (0.1772 in) drill bit will drill through glass-to-regulator rivets while the rear door window glass should be positioned accordingly to reach the riveted area. The procedure calls for both taping down the rear door window glass when positioned fully upward along with disconnecting the electrical connector from the window regulator motor. Before installation replace the window regulator with two nuts fitted at 10 Nm (89 lb-in). The three window regulator motor bracket nuts need removal followed by securing them to 10 Nm (89 lb-in) torque when reinstalling. The window regulator assembly should be removed after which you can reinstall the components using the reversed removal steps.

Drill out the rivets using a 4.5 mm (0.1772 in) drill bit.

Take out the eight window regulator cover bolts and ensure to tighten them to 10 Nm (89 lb-in) upon reinstallation.

Ensure not to detach the door handle from the latch cable, then remove the rear inside door handle by taking out the screw and disengaging it from the door.

Remove the two front door window glass-to-regulator bolts, adjusting the window glass as necessary for access.

First, remove the screw and then disengage the handle from the door.

Take out the window regulator assembly and reinstall by reversing the removal steps.

Take off the rear door weather shield.

Begin by removing the cab rear panel and positioning the insulator aside.

Remove the six nuts securing the window regulator assembly.

Reverse the removal procedure.

Secure the front door glass in the fully up position with tape.

Reverse the removal procedure, ensuring the lock knob is in the full unlocked position before installing the actuating rod.

Position the front door window glass as necessary for access.

Disconnect the exterior mirror electrical connector.

Remove the rear door window glass-to-regulator bolt, adjusting the window glass as needed for access.

Remove it through the top opening of the front door.
